Pricing

Every hospital page on this site is free and always will be. The paid tiers exist for people who need more than one provider at a time.

What the data covers

DatasetProvidersYearsFiscal yearsFiguresVerification
Hospitals6,608FY2017–FY20259931,005how we check
Nursing homes14,200FY2021–FY20255503,589how we check
Home health agencies8,821FY2022–FY20254270,205how we check

Rows and call limits below are what the API enforces, not marketing copy — a key that asks for more gets a 402 rather than a surprise invoice. The three datasets are priced together and verified differently; follow the verification link for each before relying on it.

Longer terms are billed at the monthly rate — there is no discount for committing, and no penalty either. They exist because some buyers would rather raise one purchase order a year than twelve.

full250,000200,00050/day

Bulk export downloads a whole dataset — hospitals, nursing homes or home health — as CSV or Parquet, one dataset per file, with the verified flag on every row. It is counted separately from API calls because one download is tens of megabytes.

What "verified" means here, and what it does not

Every figure is derived from a Medicare cost report coordinate. A wrong coordinate produces a number that looks entirely reasonable, so we check ours against hospitals whose audited statements are public and we publish the result including the failures. 19 of 1,704,799 figures carry a verified badge (net income, net patient revenue, total operating expenses, at 13 hospitals) — each derived from a cost report coordinate and then checked against that provider's audited financial statements, which we cite. No metric is verified across the dataset. Everything else is labelled unverified on every page and in every API response.

That is deliberate. A vendor who cannot tell you which of their numbers has been checked has not checked any of them. Each dataset publishes its own methodology, linked in the table above, including what failed and why.

Before you buy

Use the free tier on a hospital whose figures you already know. If we are wrong about that one, do not pay us.
