CMS publishes these filings free, as fixed-width text with no column names. We parse them, join them across years, screen every figure for internal consistency, and reconcile what we can against audited financial statements — then say which ones failed.
Nothing in this dataset has yet been checked against an audited financial statement. Figures are screened for internal consistency only.
The bottom line is the figure to trust here: net income agrees with audited statements to the dollar at three of the five facilities checked. Revenue does not, at any of them, because each audit excludes a different set of Medicaid supplemental payments. We publish revenue as filed and say so.
Every figure here comes from a cost-report coordinate, and a wrong coordinate produces a plausible number. See how we check them, and which checks fail.
